Night Snorkeling – Discover the Night Sea from the Surface

A calm and atmospheric guided night activity

No scuba tank, no diving certification required — observe the sea with mask, snorkel, fins and light

Do you want to see the sea in a different way without scuba diving?
Night Snorkeling is a guided night activity on the surface, where you observe the marine world with a mask, snorkel, fins and a light.

This is a different version of daytime snorkeling — calm, atmospheric and memorable. Under the light of the torches, the sea looks different, the colours change, and small details on the seabed become more visible.

What is Night Snorkeling?

Night Snorkeling is a guided activity for people who want to observe the sea from the surface in the evening or after sunset.

No diving certification is required and no scuba tank is used. Participants move calmly on the surface while the guide stays with the group throughout the entire activity.

The activity takes place only when sea conditions are suitable, the location is safe and visibility is sufficient.

What will you learn?

Before entering the water, we will conduct a short briefing about safety, equipment use and behaviour during night snorkeling.

You will learn:

  • How to use a mask, snorkel and fins
  • How to breathe calmly through the snorkel
  • How to move easily and calmly on the surface
  • How to use the light in the water
  • How to communicate with the guide and the group using light signals
  • How to maintain distance and direction in a dark environment
  • How to observe the seabed without touching it
  • Basic safety rules
  • And other useful things that will help you feel calm and confident

How does the activity work?

First, we conduct a short briefing and prepare the equipment. After that, we put on the wetsuits and prepare the lights.

For better comfort and protection, participants are covered with neoprene equipment from head to toe — wetsuit, hood and gloves. All participants must use life jackets.

After preparation, we enter the water calmly, step by step. We move on the surface while observing the seabed with the light of the torches.

The guide stays with the group throughout the entire activity, sets the pace and monitors the safety and comfort of the participants.
